When money is tight at home, children often perform less well at school. Limited financial resources at home restrict children's development opportunities and reinforce cycles of poverty that are difficult to break without outside support.

Het Jeugdeducatiefonds (The Youth Education Fund) works towards a world in which every child can develop to their full potential, regardless of their family's financial situation. The organisation increases children's development opportunities and reduces the barriers holding them back, with the goal of breaking the cycle of poverty within families. Through practical programs in schools and communities, Jeugdeducatiefonds supports children with everything from extra learning resources to guidance, so that financial hardship at home no longer determines a child's future.
We support primary schools in Apeldoorn and Rotterdam, along with their initiative ‘From Pro to Prof’, which supports pre-vocational students.
