Elles Bougent
Stereotypes remain one of the biggest obstacles keeping girls from STEM studies and careers, limiting their access to technical fields from an early age.

Elles Bougent
In France, Elles Bougent has extensive experience reducing the obstacles that keep girls, in middle- and high schools, from STEM studies and careers. The organisation dismantles stereotypes through communication campaigns, on-the-ground actions, information initiatives and experience-sharing around the jobs of the energy transition. A large network of volunteers supports Elles Bougent in shifting perceptions directly within schools. Thanks to this unique network of female mentors, partners and schools, Elles Bougent raises awareness and inspires girls to dare pursue a technical career.
We partner with Elles Bougent, in cooperation with de Dietrich, to reach even more girls and strengthen the female mentor network, particularly in underserved regions.
“Girls are often not encouraged to choose STEM studies. This contributes to a persistent divide between traditionally male and female professions, even though there are significant job opportunities in the tech sector.”
