Hogeschool Windesheim

To limit further global warming, the transition to a sustainable energy supply is essential, requiring today's buildings and homes to be renovated in ways that remain relevant for decades.

Hogeschool Windesheim

Windesheim University of Applied Sciences hosts the lectureship Energy Transition, which takes a technical systems approach to practice-based research. The lectureship trains professionals in energy transition, data-driven energy approaches and system innovation, aimed at making buildings and homes more sustainable. Its research emphasises close cooperation between installers, contractors, architects and governments, recognising that today's renovations shape tomorrow's world. The lecturer also contributes her expertise through advisory councils, boards and platforms across the Netherlands, building broader momentum for change.

We founded and support this lectureship, in cooperation with BDR Thermea, helping build a network of companies, educational institutions and government agencies with the influence to accelerate the transition.
