Without technology, everything comes to a standstill.
That is why our partner, NewTechPark, aims to inspire as many Apeldoorners as possible to choose sustainable technology. The goal is to bring the business community, their talents and education together in a practice. The BDR Thermea Foundation is proud to support this mission in various ways.

Education on heat pumps
Designing a climate experience room
In 2022, we supported NewTechPark to develop a storyline for the Climate Experience Room. The idea is to create and design a room reifying climate experience and sustainability in technology.
Once the Climate Experience Room was finalized, Remeha provided the NewTechPark with an electric heat pump. The dummy hydrogen boiler assures sustainable heat supply and thus, enforces the mission of the Climate Experience Room.

Next step – hybridization of Apeldoorn
The next step is the hybridization of the Municipality of Apeldoorn, which has a goal of being the first municipality to have 10,000 hybrid heat pumps installed. To help the municipality achieve this ambition, we plan to use the Climate Experience Room at NewTechPark to inform residents about Remeha’s hybrid heat pump.
