Saving energy costs, living comfortably, and contributing to a better environment.
That is the vision of Energieloket. Because with small changes in the household, everyone’s home can be made more energy efficient.

Education on energy efficiency
The schoolyard program in a bathroom
‘De Rijdende Badkamer‘ (DRB), is an educational lesson and schoolyard program for primary schools in the municipality of Enschede. In a mobile bathroom, children are urged to think: how do we produce energy? How much energy is needed to shower? And how can we save energy while showering? Specifically, children also learn how our water is heated with a heat pump and central heating boiler, and which heating is most economical.
New location for ‘De Rijdende Badkamer’
As a sponsor, Remeha supported Installatiewerk Nederland, the builder of DRB, by finding a new location at the Technische University (TU) in Enschede.
Besides the new location, the curriculum and schoolyard program are ready to be launched. The curriculum is professionally designed and both online and physically ready for schools. All children receive a shower timer with which they can also get started with the teaching program at home. Afterwards ‘De Rijdende Badkamer‘ will be deployed by Remeha at other schoolyards in the Netherlands, and Apeldoorn in particular.
